In Emergya we are looking for a Project Manager to work on national and international digital projects, from our headquarters in Seville.

We are looking for someone who is fluent in English, has Agile concerns and experience as a Product Owner, but we will also value previous experience as a solution architect.

What will your functions be?

  • Respond to client requests and provide consultation to clients to manage the scope, execution, and overall delivery of solutions that comply with industry best practices and Emergya standards
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of job instructions and of final work product
  • Communicate expectations for scope and deadlines to internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish information on the project based on a solid understanding of project activities, dependencies, work effort,  and associated resource requirements based upon the complexity of work and the size of the product backlog
  • Draft and manage or participate in project management tasks including SOW creation, kick-off call preparation and completion, and documentation of workflows, standards, and project closure tasks such as final billing.
  •  Participate in process improvement initiatives as identified by direction of production

Primary duties:

  • Project Managers assist with the management of cases by driving work through various operational teams. This includes creating work orders for tasks associated with data intake, culling, processing, hosting and production and completing quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of work product before it is released to clients.
  • This role is responsible for developing projects and client workflow standards, managing to a case or client annual budget, providing a consultative approach to problem-solving and identifying critical paths to completing projects with a focus on reducing costs, increasing the speed of delivery and promoting the use of innovating technology to exceed client expectations.
  • The Digital Product Manager will manage current solutions and create an unrelenting focus on the customer experience.
  • This position will also provide a clear solution description and outline of product features for easy comprehension and consumption by the development team and business partners.
  • Manages scope and defines the minimum viable product for assigned work
  • Work with business sponsors to specify and understand scope features and optimize functionalities
  • Maintains and intimate understanding of product suite, customer workflow, and business and marketing strategy
  • Communicates the product strategy effectively to key stakeholders and team members
  • Validates requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with internal and external stakeholders
  • Incorporates stakeholder input into product roadmap while effectively negotiating tradeoffs of conflicting priorities based on value to the business and customer
  • Review, analyze and prioritize Voice of the Customer feedback to incorporate in user stories
  • Maintains the product priority backlog
  • Facilitates and encourages conversations between the business and technology to determine the what and how of each feature
  • Monitors progress and participate in technical release planning
  • Accountable for making rapid tactical development decisions if they impact functionality or usability
  • Ensure all user stories and requirements are kept up-to-date
  • Manage and provide critical support and coaching to Core Team members as needed
  • Provide input and support for business; support the development of presentation material

Additional duties include:

  • Partner with team members to define, track and test user stories in an agile development life cycle.
  • Provide product subject matter expertise and leadership.
  • Ensure internal product stakeholders needs / expectations are met and promote transparency by helping communicate SCRUM methodologies.
  • Collaborate with external vendors as needed on requirements definition, feature development and overall management.

Flexible schedule

  • Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 hours per day. Flexible schedule to start (between 08:00 and 09:00 ) and finish (between 18:00 and 19:00) .

  • Thursday and Friday , 7 hours per day (08: 00-15:00).

  • July and August, 7 hours per day (08:00-15:00)

What do we ask of you?

Training Degree in Engineering or similar with knowledge in Digital Marketing
Years of experience
  • A passion for digital innovation and commitment to the customer experience
  • Excellent English: Level B2+ / C1 Speak English
  • Availability to travel frequently
  • Agile development experience
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum practices
  • 2+ years of experience working within product owner framework or similar function.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience creating and maintaining a Product backlog and sorting the Product backlog items according to priority.
  • Ability to clearly communicate the business requirements to the Team.
  • Build and maintain a relationship with the Stakeholders.
  • Experience interacting with senior level management
