APIA-alcance

Importance

There is a clear need to develop and integrate new technologies that lead to the improvement of different worksite execution processes and, specifically, civil building with the final aim of reaching similar productivity levels to other more digitized sectors .

For that reason, we strive to develop a comprehensive and smart platform for the civil building audits based on in the automatic capture and parameterization in the information BIM model and certification through Blockchain.

Challenge

Increasing productivity and competitiveness in the construction of new railway lines , developing a new system that allows technical monitoring and certification of infrastructure railway building from its digitization and automation.

In order to achieve this aim, it will be necessary to investigate and integrate solutions in four technical areas with high potential: BIM, drones, Machine Learning and Blockchain.

Automatic elements creation in BIM model
Creation of an informative BIM system, prepared to automatically do BIM models , from the information of data building. Modeling BIM elements to the following of the production.
Actualización BIM
Dynamic updating of BIM models
Implementing cognitive models that lead to the creation of virtual BIM models from a reality built by LIDAR scanner making use of Machine Learning to recognise objects.
Sistematización
Monitoring systematization and control of construction progress
Building of comprehensive system to monitor the construction progress and production certification run by providers through BlockChain.

This project was born as an answer to a clear need of the building sector to increase productivity levels, through the incorporation of new technologies that allow us to digitise and automate some processes.
